Events, trackers, categories, alert rules, notes and computed statistics are stored locally on your device. They are not synced to iCloud or any other service. Deleting the app, or using Settings › Erase All Data, removes them. API keys you enter for AI providers are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.
If you grant permission, Logge reads selected Health data (such as sleep, steps and heart rate) to find correlations with the events you log. Logge never writes to Health. Health data:
If you grant permission, Logge reads calendar events on your device to suggest events to log and to find correlations. Calendar data is processed on-device and is never uploaded.
Apple Intelligence (default) runs on-device. No data leaves your device.
Cloud AI providers (optional, bring your own key). If you add an API key for Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI or Google (Gemini), Logge sends an aggregated summary of your statistics — category and tracker names, counts, frequencies and detected patterns — directly from your device to the provider you chose. That provider’s privacy policy applies to the request:
You can remove your API key at any time to stop sending requests.
Logge Pro is an auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple. Logge receives only the subscription status from the App Store and never sees your payment information.
When you export data (PDF, CSV, JSON), the file is created on your device and shared only where you choose to send it.
The app uses UserDefaults (Apple’s standard preference storage) for non-sensitive settings such as theme, font and onboarding status. This is declared in the app’s Privacy Manifest under reason CA92.1.
Logge is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
